The LXC team is pleased to announce the release of LXC 4.0.2!

The makers of Ubuntu, Canonical, released Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, the latest of the long term support versions April 23.

We’ve had a surge of interest in Docker consulting work. While it has been no surprise to us as we have been Docker consultants since Docker was first released and open-sources in early 2013 (March to be exact), we’ve had some easy wins over the last month and a half moving consulting clients over to a Docker containerized solution. With one of our most recent Docker consulting jobs, we saved a client in the aerospace industry more than 40% on their infrastructure costs by enabling the consulting client to use less than half the servers they were previously using on AWS.

Docker recently announced that they created an open community for their Compose Specification that allows for a both desktop and cloud agnostic approach to building multi-container apps.

We always wait before we start offering our clients the latest versions of software. LXD version 4.0 was released on April 3 and we’re happy to announce that we’re now offering LXD Consultations with the latest version - 4.0!

We started offering Docker Consulting services early on - back long before version 1.0 of Docker was released. Docker now is on version 19.03.8 and this release is one of the most stable releases. Over the last two weeks, we’ve seen more of our clients rushing to upgrade to this version of Docker.

We’re proud to announce that after more than 10 years in the space, in addition to Linux containers, we now offer more specfic sofware container solutions.
